Cranial Sacral therapy is different from what you might think when you hear the word massage. It uses a light touch to sense and stimulate the tissue and fluid of the spine.  This has the effect of releasing tensions in soft tissue and calming the nervous system.  It has shown to have very good results with whiplash injuries, headaches, tmj, and neck and back pain in general.   It is a very gentle technique that can be used when an injury might feel too fresh or painful to receive a more traditional massage.  The patient is fully clothed during treatment.

I use a mixture of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, NMT, and Craniosacral therapies.

I attended Seattle Massage School 1998-1999 where I studied deep tissue, Swedish and sports massage therapy.  I also attended the Upledger Institute for CranioSacral Therapy, as well as Biodynamic Craniosacral modules focused on the body-mind connection, support for children, and somatic trauma therapies. I am in constant pursuit of continued learning and understanding of this amazing human experience.

My very first memory as a child was of holding my grandmother's heavy feet, listening to instructions on how to relieve her pain.I loved this role and it continued throughout my life, leading me naturally into healing work.

I suffered for years with headaches, chronic pain, depression, and fibromyalgia, along with a long list of other complaints that sank my joy for life. My suffering ended when I embraced whole-body wellness to address stress and trauma through bodywork, nutrition, and movement. I hope to inspire that potency and possibility in you!

Wellness begins when you decide! There is no better time than now.
